At InterDesign architects love what they do and the challenges they face. Our director of Architecture put it this way:
“I enjoy being an Architect because I love to walk through and experience buildings after I have designed them… My favorite project is Center Grove High School because it was a large, complex project. Center Grove included a renovation of the majority of the existing building. It's also a project that I have returned to on numerous occasions as my daughters go through high school and have participated in competitions held at Center Grove. I still enjoy walking through the Hall of Excellence and watching how other people experience and use the space.” Dave Wietbrock.
Another of our architects had this to say:
"I enjoy being an architect because it allows me to use my creative side along with my practical and logical side. I take pride in seeing a project develop from an idea to a reality that is not only aesthetically pleasing and respects its environment, but truly functions the way it needs to, and is within the means of a client.
One of my favorite projects was for the Goodwill Industries Charter School. The Indianapolis Metropolitan High School Gymnasium Addition had its challenges with a tight site and limited budget, as well as its needs to be easily maintained and function as a multi-use facility while also relating to the existing structure. We were able to meet those challenges." Thomas Ferri
