Location: Indianapolis, IN

The University of Indianapolis’ vision for a building that would greet students and visitors in a warm, welcoming manner was realized in Esch Hall. Understanding that first impressions are often the most potent, the University sought to capture their rich traditions and reputation for academic excellence using contemporary elements already established throughout campus. The floor plan and design of this academic and administration building is a beautiful and functional tribute to the campus environment. The exterior design employs a rich palette of brick, stone, metal and glass that coordinates well with the mass, scale, textures and colors found elsewhere. Festive banners give the University flexibility in welcoming visitors, highlighting programs, and celebrating campus events. As a result, Esch Hall has quickly become the face of The University of Indianapolis.
